Mallika Sherawat plays Anokhi Devi in the trailer of the coming film Dirty Politics, starring Om Puri and Naseeruddin Shah.
The film is purported to be based on the life of Bhanwri Devi, even though director K C Bokadia has denied that to be the case.
Dirty Politics tells the tale of Anokhi Devi who gets into a
sleazy relationship with a powerful politico played by Om Puri. Not
just that, she makes a CD of his sexual acts with her as a deterrent
against threats. She’s an ambitious woman and wants to have her way.
Supporting roles in 'Dirty Politics' are played by Jackie Shroff,
Anupam Kher, Atul Kulkarni, Ashutosh Rana, Rajpal Yadav, Sushant Singh,
Govind Namdev, Charu Sharma and Naseeruddin Shah.
